    Default Pc problems again :(

Ok so my new computer is freaking annoying me. I got so many errors with it I figured I would reformat it. But the problem is that I didn't have a Xp disc but a windows 2000. The reason I didn't have xp disc is because my mom boyfriend bought it for me and installed everything from the crap he had I guess. Well I formatted it and I can't connect to the internet anyone know the problems. Its an IBM desktop. I tried internet setting still won't work. But I'm on my old pc and the internet is working just fine.

How are you connecting to the internet?

Router, modem, dial up, radio waves, television spectrum?

Chances are, your network interface card is not properly configured within Windows. Go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc and check to see if any devices have yet to be installed. Look for a yellow exclamation mark.
