Dragonball: Evolution 2's script being written

Dragonball: Evolution, the first live-action adaptation of the popular manga, hasn’t even hit our screens yet, but the script for a proposed sequel has already been written, according to Justin Chatwin, who plays Goku in the upcoming film.

Speaking to SciFiNow last month, the 26-year-old actor said that he was signed on for potential sequels, and that he was excited about the prospect: “If there were to be a sequel I think it… well, I know that it would go to a really interesting place, because they already have the second script written.”

When pressed for details, Chatwin revealed a little more about the direction of the celluloid version of the franchise. “It’s really, really cool. The second one goes more into the whole legacy and the genealogy of Dragonball. It goes more in-depth into a real Dragonball series, the kind of intergalactic world of Dragonball.”

Dragonball: Evolution stars Justin Chatwin, Emmy Rossum, and Chow Yun-Fat. The film is released in Japan on 13 March 2009, the United Kingdom on 3 April 2009, and the United States on 8 April 2009.

Piccolo should not be fighting Goku, but rather preparing for his fight against Raditz, because Goku only fought Piccolo as an adult at the end of dragonball and that was during a tournament.

one the Dragonballs were made by Kami who is a namekian, goku during the stories of dragonball was roughly 10 to 12.

Piccolo never had an airship, he could ****ing fly!
if you are going to bastardize the thing atleast make it similer to the story.

allow me to sum up the dragonball story.

Goku, a young man who is a complete idiot, he keeps a dragon ball who he thinks is his grand pa because as i said, he's an idiot. He then meets bulma, resident Dragonwhore, she tries to take goku's dragonball by offering him a chance to touch her hip, he refuses.

continue on for a while and we meet Master Roshi, who has a dragonball, bulma wants it so she shows him her panties, only she wasn't wearing any, move on and you soon meet oolong, by this point goku can't tell men and women apart by looks so he pats their crotch to see who is who, Oolong is kidnapping women from a small town because he's a perv.
the town offers them a dragon ball if they can get rid of Oolong, so they decide to dress goku up as a woman, oolong falls for the bait and is shocked to see goku pee in the street, which ruins the plan, so they fight but oolong escapes, we soon find he's nothing more then a talking pig who can transform for five minutes.

We move on and meet Yamcha and Puar, Puar and Oolong went to shape shifting school together and Yamcha is a Desert bandit known as the desert wolf for his signature move, wolf fang fist, goku fights yamcha but soon the heroes get lost in the desert and have the dragonballs stolen by an evil midget by the name of Pilaf, they go to retreive the dragonballs with the help of yamcha but being the idiots they are, they fall into a trap, goku and the rest are put into a metal room with a glass roof, so when the sun comes up they will be cooked alive.

Goku regails us with a story about a monster that appears during a full moon, and how it killed his grand pa by stelling on him, but tonight is a full moon, goku looks up and see's it and transforms into a giant Ape and proceeds to wreck Pilaf's shit, Puar saves the day by turning into a pair of giant Scissors and cutting off his tail.

Does it really matter if they follow the proper storyline since its just about money anyway.
