Lizard Interactive announced on its unique free-to-play game portal NeoFun.com that its new MMO Land of Magic will launch Closed Beta Testing. Players who want to become a tester can apply for CBT starting February 3,2009 and will get a chance to win fabulous prizes.
Land of Magic is a classic 2D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) with unique story of ancient battle which took place between God and Dragon. In the great beginning of emptiness, there existed God and Dragon, two superb beings. Their origin is unknown and no one knows how the war begun between them. This long lasting war of brutality has caused fatal wounds for both God and Dragon. Blood gushing from the wound of God created many different forms of Gods. Blood gushing from the wound of Dragon created many kinds of Dragons. Long lasted battle has ended with Dragon being defeated. God has torn Dragon into 5 pieces and created Sky, Earth, Sea, Mountains, and Islands. This is how the Story of Land of Magic begins?
CBT Schedule: February 26, 2009 ~ March 4, 2009 PSTDifferent Races;
Even at level 1, players use skills particular to certain races. Ogres or Orcs can use attack skills such as Biting which can overcome most enemy defenses. Lizardmen are able to randomly shoot powerful water blasts from their mouths. Trolls can heal faster than any race and can recover up to one-fifth of their vitality every six seconds using their special Vitality Recovery Skill. Each race has skills unique to that race
Also, For thousands of years battles have raged on in the Land of Magic. In this magical land, wars are fought with magic and player are able to change their race and sex though related quests.Different Classes;
Wizard
A wizard has a wide range of attack magic and magic to lower the opponent's abilities. The most iportant attributes are wisdom and intelligence. The higher the intelligence, the more powerful the damage inflicted on opponents.
Warrior
A warrior is expert at defense, but can use almost no magic. Strength and health are most important to a warrior. The stronger the warrior, the greater the damage inflicted by attack skills and greater the health, the higher the vitality.
Summoner
A summoner is able to summon spirits and command them. Although a summoner is able to use attack magic, summoners are able to use less magic than a wizard. Wisdom and intellect are important to a summoner. The higher the wisdom, the greater the maximum level of mana that the character is able to have.
Cleric
With power from God, a cleric has many recovery, attack support
and attack magic. Intelligence and wisdom are also important for
this profession. Clerics have additional power against undeads
with regards to attack and resurrection.
Thief
The thief has a wide array of skills to choose from and is
even able to use some magic. Agility and health are
important to this profession. The higher the agility,
the greater the damage inflicted by combat skills.
Bard
A bard is able to use the magic of music and
some thief skills. Agility and attractiveness are
important to a bard. The higher the attractiveness,
the more effective are the spells of the bard’s music.
Level Blessed Items;
If a level 50 player kills a level 100 monster, it will drop an item and the required level will be set between 50~100 at random. If the player is lucky, they may get an item with the required level reduced by the maximum 50 levels. That item is called a Completely Blessed item.
