I've build my computer and I bought a GeForce GTX 260 graphic card.
I was wondering if it is worth the extra 100 $ to ditch 260 and get the GTX 285? or should I get 280? or should I just not bother right now...
My current computer specs are:
Operating system: Windows Vista home basic 32-bit
Ram: 6 GB DDR3
Power Supply: 550w
Processor: Intel core i7 290
The reason I'm asking is because the 260 and 280 have "nVidia Hybrid power" and the 285 doesn't. Even though I have no idea what that is x3.
I'm a noob D:
Unless anyone else has any other idea's for what I should do to this comp ><
Or maybe I should go for GeForce 9800 GX2 ??? its also only 100 $ extra... hmmm
The reason I don't want the 295 or whatever is because it's fairly expensive and I'd have to get a new power supply if I wanted to put that in >_<
Thanks...
Hybrid SLI is what they're talking about. Its a technology created by Nvidia that allows GeForce video cards to SLI with onboard GeForce video cards (only on certain Nvidia nForce motherboards)
So, unless you have a Nvidia nForce motherboard, don't worry about the Hybrid power.
