I am not sure if this has been posted yet, but I could not get the search function working for some reason. Anyway, this game seems to be similar to Tactics Arena Online, but unfortunatly less populated and all units are fortunatelly free, though it seems you do have to pay for certain things. There is a write up somewhere about it somewhere around OnRPG.
