DIABLO like MMORPG

Listen up guys, post here some of the MMORPGs that in your opinion are look alike of either Diablo 1 or Diablo 2. Enumerate them and if you can, post their Screenshots too so that we can compare them to each other and choose what game is gonna be the best look alike. For me, I am posting WYD Global. Check this out.

Pretty sure if WYD looks like Diablo1/2, most mmos that came out around lineage1 -> WoW era, looks like Diablo2, ranging from T4C to Helbreath to MuOnline,DragonRaja etc ... too many to post.

Whoa, there's a lot of 'em. I'll go check all of those right away, are there any Screenshots you can provide?

No sorry, most games like that are dead (in terms of community or server have shut down). Your best bet is wait for mythos to come back out.

agreed, mythos is a pretty awsome game. It practically is a diablo MMO

wow, good to hear, coz wyd still got all of their servers full, community is alive and kickin (no exaggeration), all guilds are english guilds, and most are using vent or ts, ts are mostly used by brazilians,

Would it kill these upstart game devs to hire artists who weren't effing manga whores? I swear, every flash mmo/free mmo, etc., is some kind of anime themed trash-fest. I have nothing against anime, but good lord if I didn't know better I would think it was the last remaining style of character design!

It didn't use to bother me but now If I see a game done in that style I get turned off so fast, no matter how "good" the gameplay is, simply because if they aren't creative enough to come up with their own art style then how ambitious can they be? If you want to make a unique game make it ALL THE WAY unique, not just SORT OF unique.

I just tried WYD GLobal, I just quit about 30 seconds into the game.. uninstalling it now... but yaeh a good Diablo clone would be cool, when is the Mythos site going to open again?

Instead of me making a new topic like most new people do, what is WYD like? because i was looking at it yesterday and it seem'd interesting because atm - im looking for a free mmo [will prob go p2p in a couple of months] to take up some time away from s4 league/L4D + RE5 [when it comes out]

Actually Mythos is now in hands of Hanbitsoft and they are releasing it in Korea(under development to fit Korean's taste).

I don't know if they will release it for English players though.

I guess they were made by same type of 3D engine?
