It is possible that violence-prone teenagers are more likely to obsessively use the Internet
this seems the most plausable answer to me.

honestly if anything the internet makes me less aggressive in real life, not that i was aggressive to begin with.

like, the way some people behave on forums and in games makes me think "wow, what a d*ck, how can someone be so introverted?" and it makes me reflect on how i treat other people.

f*cking kids these days, dont know how good theyve got it. spend all day on the internet with their hi-tech gizmos and arent even glad they dont have to sweep chimneys.

send them all to the gulag.

The internet boosts agression when someone is reading a page, and they notice someone else is WRONG ON THE INTERNET! Then they have to flip out and correct them in 97 little nit picky ways.

I just don't care about things like that. There is a way to link anything if you try hard enough, just plain stupid.

I believe that that report is true. And don't lie to yourselves, especially those that use the computer for prolonged periods of time. Lack of sleep, adredaline pumping FPS action, plus getting *****ed at by your mom/dad, of course you're just a lose cannon waiting to happen.

Oh there are tons of reports out there that are true as well that I don't give a crap about, If I lived my life according to what reports tell me well heck I wouldn't be the one living it. I do what I think is best for me, but try and not to stupid shit lol. Reports just scare people into doing stuff.

actually you are wrong on that, let me show you why

1 - its not about being wrong per-se, its about the type of message so
A - is it super old? if it is then thats a legitimate greivance since nobody wants to see the same old stuff
B - is it ripped from somewhere without a source? thats annoying
C - is it a huge wall of text that is annoying to read? because thats bad too

2 - is the message easy to read? if its all mega text speak then that p*sses people off so its a legitimate greivance and not just someone yelling that its wrong on the internet

3 - if its another crying shame type of post like omg im leaving or whatever then thats something else everyone has seen before.

4 - if you are talking about the internet in terms of online gaming then again its not just about being wrong on the internet. people will yell at you for being a know-it-all, a dumb****, a whiner, an attention seeker, a grammar nazi, a topic derailer, a flamer, a bratty little kid and an ego maniac douchebag.

so as you can see the issue is far deeper than just being "wrong on the internet". sorry to flip out and get all nit picky.

(couldnt think of 97 things, also wouldve taken like an hour to type all for the sake of a pretty lame joke)

I'm a very b*tchy girl irl, so I mean, I can agree to this article in a sense that I can be just as--if not more b*tchy on here and no one would really be offended. Weird. I'll be honest and say it makes me feel like everyone is much more chill online as opposed to real life.

I can understand why someone would become "obsessive" over it.

It can make kids either more bold or more insecure.
Like someone who picks on people on the web--it can translate to them thinking they're tough shit.
Someone who is picked ON, on the web--it can translate to this psycho defensive I'm-gonna-bring-a-gun-to-school-and-shoot-everyone-up-cause-everyone-treats-me-like-a-loser. I mean usually that is the case.
