Firefox problems

I dont know if you this is an option in Firefox but basically i accidently pressed the '' do this to every file of this kind'' button and now it just screws up everytime i tries to open a file of that specific kind. So is there a way to change that auto opening of a file in a specific program?

Go to preferences and look around. There should be a way to change this, and Preferences would be a good place to look.

You're not being specific enough, though. What kind of file?
