    Default American Eagle WTF.

Sooo.............Yesterday a few of my friends hit promenade (a mall)
We got kicked out of every store we like because we were "Disrupting the customers" even though there wasn't a single customer in the store as it was late.

Followed by that, we go to american eagle.
Where we see a lesbian, picking out GUY jeans.
We see that, and we go try to get girl jeans. Yes, yes, you can make an "emo/scene/w/e the hell" joke. anyways, the sales lady comes up to us and she's like NONONO YOU CANT TRY ON WOMANS JEANS.

Is this normal or am I just being stupid?

Damn, if you guys let someone elses clothing style get to you, maybe you should rethink life for a bit. Ppl have different opinions on life, and as i see you sitting on onRPG, im sure you fckin know that already.

You cant be going on with life getting pissed at other ppls opinions, especially just clothing apparel. Dont you have other things to be worrying about.

    Like, i duno, life?

Anyway, hicks around the midwest wear tighter guy jeans then emo kids wearing girl jeans.

LMAO this is a joke, right?

Knowing from past retail experiences (and almost becoming part of the AE crew) I know that if they see a bunch of snotty little teenagers stroll in, not necessarily touching material, but just being loud and cracking obnoxious jokes, they will find any reason to make you leave.

Because it makes others' shopping experiences very uncomfortable. Also they probably might have thought you trying on women jeans would only be "for fun". And being a male you would probably end up breaking buttons or something.

Eh, making ppl uncomfortable is what teens do.

I can think of countless times i had gone shopping with friends and got kicked out of basically everywhere.

&i thought i was pretty cool too.

    I was, i am.

Tho now, looking back at it, and being a bit older. Id rather just kick my own ***.

Exactly. OP you called them "girl jeans" but these aren't some junior jeans you can pick up at a department store. The sales lady was right--they're for Women, plus they're American Eagle so they're treated to be at least a bit more valuable. Teenage boys going in and trying them on would be like "ohohohoo hell no don't touch pls" because teenage boys almost always look like a rowdy bunch roaming around the mall.

Well ball huggers normally are just female pants marked as well. To save money most companys dont "redesign" or work just to make something they can just switch sex tags with.

Are you for real dude? Just cause its baggy doesn't even mean it has to sag first of all. I used to sag just cause, but i stopped awhile ago but still wore my baggy jeans. Just started wearing slim fit the other week and now its my new style. Your talking about stereotyping, but your just being a hypocrite. You realise you can sag slim and skinny jeans to right?

Ive seen some dudes take it utterly personal that boys wear girl jeans

The same type of ppl that ***** and moan over a style of haircut too.

Tho, whatever they are wearing, can generally be put into category also.

Not everyone has to dress like you, or whatever image you think is right.

And if you believe that, maybe you should leave your house.

Go experience culture. And for christs sake, try not to cry at every little thing that isnt you.
