There's a popular onrpg member who uses the name 'Maria'. So, I think people were thinking you were impersonating.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'Gender swapping'.
Perhaps you could explain a little more of what you're looking into?

hm by gender swapping i mean people who chose another gender than their real life ones for their characters in the game!
for the questionnaire it doesnt matter if you do it, because i need both, people who do it and people who dont. im looking at if there are next to obvious motives such as because it has a game advantage etc are other underlying factors that influence that, such as your personality or your sex role.happy?

i played a female character in a game once because the class was gender specific. guys kept hitting on me all the time and giving me free stuff because me armor looked like three peices of string held together with a paperclip and i went ^.^ all the time. guys are stupid.
dont want to participate or anything, just thought id share my foray into gender swapping.
