I've only played one turn-based game in my life and that was like 10 years ago on a Mac. I've never tried FF or anything. So if I play a turn-based game, whats the first one I should play?

If you ARENT a graphics ***** then I suggest FF7, or better yet if you have a PS2 get FF10, FF10 was the best FF on PS2. (Which it didn't have much competition)
FF10 had really NO flaws what so ever (And I dont mean the game was perfect but it didn't have any serious glitches and was pretty hard, sometimes you'd have to face a boss just to die so you can learn his strategy)![]()
Except for the linearity of it. No world map, and areas where you just run straight for 5 mins. You just go from area to another, very few side areas if at all (there were sidequests, but mostly just backtracking to locations you've already been to).
Don't get me wrong, FF10 was awesome, in both story and gameplay, but FF7 still wins out for me, due to all the extra areas, and freedom of the world map.
Nuuu FF8!
Thats still my favourite one to this day.
League of Legends US - IGN ForceModified
Steam - mystryx1
FF 7, 8 and 10
Also Chrono Trigger for the SNES and Chrono Cross for the Ps1 are freaking awesome.
