    Seriously, it's older than Stan Lee, this routine of yours.
    If I was a true pragmatist, I would just call your point ridiculous.

    I just notice that you have a very limited scope and use slang that means shit at all;
    Why do we need variety?

    Is this even a question?

    You have a pretty nazi understanding of moral, you know;
    I just want to point that out, because it is what keeps you from being anything of an idealist or whatever anti theme you (probably not) though up against pragmatism.

    I must assume, that you disfavor, that I take you by the word, word better then.

    All I get is:
    I would not mind to leave it out for my arguments to have all too much to do with reality, but still, someone see shortcomings to that;
    He is a pragmatic than?
    Well, whatever you prefer to call me you can freely pick, I just think that your are not trying to draw consequences.

    As reasoning is about finding links between cause and consequence, you miss out on more than half.

    Btw;
    Older than who again?
    I must say, imagining myself not being fond of variety, I probably would have difficulties finding anything more obviously fashion attached and less timeless.

    Saying that furry is ********** is considered highly offensive and a stereotype in it's self.

    Stan Lee created pretty much all of Marvel's main characters.

    I get it, Ronin. I really do get it. I'm sure everyone here finds you very smart. You don't need to keep doing this, really; overcompensating. It's more yawn-inducing that an a lecture on clocks.

    I never said we don't need variety. I was commenting on forced variety, that was obvious if you look at how I addressed his point. Stop being silly, son.

    I thought it was universal knowledge that blacks have small brain big shlong and asians with big brain and small - u get the point.

    Jay kay.

    I guess stereotypes has become part of man's nature now. Just like war and violence, it is impossible, or rather difficult, to get rid of it. =\

    X3 yah yah and i know exactly what you mean about being open-minded, its weird cuz people try so hard to just associate themselves with one group instead of being a bit more comfortable with themselves XP seriously, anyone who'd ignore you for being yourself wasnt worth getting to know anyway, and people who judge others based on their outwards appearance rather than their personality aren't worth your time either

    XP life is too goddamn short to be picky about friends

    Well, I found it interesting, that you were doing exactly what the OP said he disliked.

    I find the phrase "why do people need [random item]" very curious.
    No matter how a person finds himself, it is his business and responsibility.

    If a person seems to be what you say is superficial, fundamentally lacking and totally opposed to what you like, so be it.

    Why do you call what he says about himself unnecessary?

    This can easily go in circles.

    No ones opinion about himself is unnecessary. If you don't want to take the burden of listening and considering, you can do that without telling people off, imho.

    I could pull one of those horrid "down with the nonconformers" quotes, I don't think they do anyone justice. You are just somewhat more mature than him in your viewpoints, which does not make them any better; You just hold a higher guard that's it. You still probably do a lot of stuff that people older than you might deem unreasonable and fun nonsense, that is worth it for it's own sake in the moment, with consequences that aren't, at least I know I do.

    Experience is not something to boast about, everyone is going to make many more relevant to himself than what we can offer. Even more he is in the position that is to be envied, because he has not come as far as to say;
    Fashion is boring and superficial, everyone is the same anyways and the fuzz about friendship and likeness is is all just a big waste of time, because in the end, everyone is "nice" and everyone is trying to be "happy" and everyone is "selfish" and everyone is not "unique" and there are no surprises.

    What part of me being curious as to why he feels the need to force variety upon himself bothers you?

    That's it, that's literally all I was getting at. If it's forced variety, then it's not natural, and if it's not natural, it's not being yourself.

    There's really no need for all this essays, Ronin. Type long posts when they're called for.

    Your posts put me to sleep. You type, type and type, yet you say absolutely nothing. That's a talent I must say that, while not admiring, I find impressive.

    There is no "guideline" and the "be yourself, don't bother with trying to deal with the world" won't help a young adult, who knows shit about it.

    Not being yourself, is really not an option people have. Even if you try to give it one with reading it as "true to your personality", it's not.
    To this comes that personality is a thing that every person must create for himself, as it does not come with birth. You can't do it for others and trying to force your's onto them is hardly polite.

    Well, don't bring it up than...

    I was just suggesting you could try to either pick to be more polite to him, or not make a scene about how he is not conform with how you see life and things.

    Because if you tell everyone how great you are and how dumb they are, what might that amount to?
    All that with no reason or intent, besides parading your opinion on right/wrong...

    Stereo-types seem to be more problematic in high school, after that, I haven't really noticed.

    I didn't, did I? I didn't say "Ronin, post multiple essays devoid of a discernable point, serving nothing more than self-indulgence.", did I? I made a remarkably simple point about how forced variety (Just like forced ANYTHING) is hardly a way to live.

    I figured you smarter than to assume I meant it was a bad way to live as fact, and that I was trying to rob him of his freedom.

    I didn't make a scene, I replied to him as he requested people to do so. I never suggested that he follow the way I live or think, you got that out of my post. A thing you continually seem to do, only to blame me for.

    I'm not telling everyone how great I am and how dumb they are, am I? You, however, are being unusually ridiculous right now.

    He asked for opinions, I gave him mine. You enjoy these interactions, I find them immeasurably dull, so next time you reply to me, if you cannot sum up your point in two paragraphs, don't bother.

    So while I was looking up at the stars and toking on a fatty, I totally realized that stereotyping is ghey. ;/ It makes no sense, neither does the word! Stereotype, you can't type anything on a stereo. There's no keyboard! It just doesn't make any sense. It just plain doesn't make any sense! You shouldn't do things that make no sense.

    It'll probably give you cancer. ;o

    The problem with you and your arguments is, that you don't even know what you are for and what you are against yourself.

    Now go ahead blame me for that...

    I can't tell you.

    Stereotypes come from the judge mental side of human nature. And its human nature to be judge mental.

    Nothing you can do about it. No one is innocent when it comes to stereotypes. Even though you complain of it yourself you know you have done it many times. Looking at the jock football player and "KNOWING" he is a ****in moron because he plays sports. Or looking at that girl in the mini skirt showing her *** off knowing she is a **** because she wears those clothes.

    No away around it, everyone is guilty, and I don't think you should rant about it because you are more than likely guilty yourself. Which would make you a hypocrite.

    Of course everyone does it automatically once in a while, but it doesn't hurt to stop and correct yourself. People are just people, not emos or goths or punk or whatever the ****. Classifications piss me off because there is NO WAY you can sum up the entirety of a person with one word.

    People who classify themselves must be pretty damn shallow to have to adhere to a stupid, ambiguous, meaningless title just to muster up a little bit of self belonging. What pisses me off more than anything are those faggots who classify themselves as "juggalos". They take this ******ed stereotypical bullshit to an entirely new level of ridiculousness.

    "Yeah! I listen to a musical group. Everyone else who does is my brother and we like to scream **** the world because we are so hurt inside!"

    May as well kill yourselves...

    XD labels will always exist wherever people decide to create some sort of hierarchy, and as long as people want to prove themselves different, better or more than someone else

    XP those who think they have 'power' will always be challenged because of that power; those who think something about another person, be it personality, tastes, preferences make them less of a person than they are; stuff like that will always cause stereotypes to exist X3 we can't help it, we're human
