There is a manga for it, I have only read up to volume 7 though.
The manga has more depth of course, becuase it can be longer.
The manga is similiar but does have alot of differences.
And too bad Hollywood will ruin it.
not sure what I would do if I was the main character and found out that stuff at the end.

The movie was adapted from the manga which doesn't seems to exaggerate the plot much.
I wish they could have better ending instead of SPOILER, but it's still a good ending.
