    Default zeitgeist addendum

So i know most of you are no where near fans of this dude or his documentaries but i have to admit. This one really got me a bit question-y

I was just sorta wondering what other opinions are on it our there.

And i would love to keep it a friendly discussion. Dont hate on someone for his opinion. Sure, voice that you oppose his opinion, but try not to take it any further.

If you have not seen this, i encourage you to go do so.

Its 2 hours long. Watch it in intervals if you have to.

    Its worth it, imo.

Anyway, good it. Click Video. There ya go

Maybe its time for a change?
well no cos thats not a bad thing

like buying on credit means i can have a house to live in or pay for something i otherwise wouldnt be able to afford if i had to pay up front.

debt isnt necessarily a bad thing if you are talking about systems of credit.

also, its good that most of the wealth is owned by only a small percentage. if the worlds wealth was spread out money would either be worthless or we'd all have 5 pence in our bank accounts.

We are economic slaves. That isnt good.

Things like homes, food and cars shouldnt have to paid for. More like, given away. Im sure God would understand lol

We have the technology and man power to make homes for the whole world. But we dont. Around 80% of the world lives off 2 bucks a day.

I mean, its fairly obvious what we are doing isnt working.

I don't think he means total equality deimos just a little more fair than 1% of the population owning 40% of the money. That's like out of 100 people, 1 person owning 40$ out of the 100. That leaves 99 people to share 60$.. Atleast spread it to 40% amongst 10% not 1 :|

Sure things should change, a lot of things need changing in this world. But even with the viral spread of videos such as this - how much "change" is actually a product of seeing these videos?
All these kids sitting in their chairs being like "YEAH WE HAVE ONE ON THE GOVERNMENT NOW".
Then running to online forums to ***** about change.

    basically because people are idiots.

on the one hand "omg need more wind power to save the environment"

govt: ok, we'll tax this area a bit more in order to build these expensive turbines

idiots: oh wait, actually i dont want more taxes. cant you just magic some money up? also, i changed my mind about the wind turbines because i dont want them near me, they look ugly.

morons. same with solar power too. its expensive and nobody wants to pay for it. sure you got some crackpot who has solar panels on his roof, grows all his own food and probably drinks his own urine, but these are isolated cases.

in short, all of these issues are issues that people LOVE discussing but HATE actually having to do anything about.

i agree with you, its a shame.

    kait0s:
    Want a house for free?

    Go build your own house.

    ~+~

Also fyi we do NOT have hydrogen power.
And the world will be fine with wind and sun and the tides and bio-fuel only if you agree to eat raw food for the rest of your life and get the whole world to join you.

You won't achieve that and that's why it's not realistic, so you better get it out of your head.

"excuse me sir you cant build there, you need planning permission first from the local council.

fill out form A7 through 14 but not A11 then sign here and here in triplicate and post it to your local representative, you will be charged for administrative purposes of course and also will be expected to cover the costs of any new health and safety legislation that needs to be written up during the construction period of said abode. of course this will then be rejected by a tribunal which will be paid for by you in the event of your permission being rejected by a tribunal. have fun building your house for free sir"

So clever you are. And my dad does construction, so im sure i could. But free?

    Hardly not.

I think you were just trying to be a little funny here.

Point i was getting at is sorta like this. Some people have robots (machines) to do their dishes. Some dont even have dishes.

If things like homes and food and even transportation were free we could set our minds to things a bit more important than trying to work your *** off just to survive.

Don't have the patience to plant trees?

Yea, so everyone agrees that your BS doesn't work, including you.

You don't really think that crap, do you?

THEY don't want you to get free houses, so that THEY can sell them to you?

How about building your own houses and the surplus of them you can give away for free, if you like free houses so much.

    So nobody does that right?
    Including you.

kait0s you do have some points, but change is never easy. The internet is not really DOING anything. It's a lot of talk and not any SIGNIFICANT action.

Well, if I build a house and hand you the keys for nothing that's free (like kait0s wants it).

It's totally possible to have people steal your house just to have it for free.
    That's what communism is about.
Stealing your house, because there is no other way to quickly get one for free, if those poor homeless fellows don't find it worth the effort to go through the hassle of building their own.

I know. If you watch he even goes on about this same thing. And gives a list of things we can possibly do.

Ive told or showed as many people as i know this video. I will let them decide what they believe from it tho.

Thats all i can do as of now.

To do anymore would result in me going to jail most likely. Our free lives are to restricted.

    lol

Dude, im giving ideas. Not perfect ideas. Not once did i say, THIS WILL WORK NORRIN, I SWEAR. I just feel its getting to late to do anything

I wanted this thread to discuss what could be done to start solutions. Not for you to come in here to bash it cause i want solutions or bash every possible idea i come up with or what anyone comes up with.

I dont assume this thread will help solve any problems. But im hoping it might make someone else aware, as it did me. And they might pass it on

Instead of arguing with me over every little thing. Maybe you can use your awesome brain power to give possible solutions. Unless of course you believe we have achieved what we will and nothing else should happen.

    Yeah, you know me right?

Lets say ive done very little to help the world out. Lets say im more aware of the problem then i was.

So lets say that were starting here. Not in the past.

This video makes you aware of the problems...

Yea, because that's the problems to care about; Those you wouldn't even know you have if an online video didn't tell you about them.

    ****ing pathetic.

Getting too late to do anything about what?

Where are your ideas? You're not giving ideas, and you're not telling anybody what you're giving ideas to changing. You're just telling us the world sucks, and you know that now because you've watched Zeitgeist.

I'm not giving you possible solutions because unlike you, I recognise that there are some battles the single man cannot, and should not, fight. I'm not CLAIMING to have solutions to banking, or how to gain freedom, because I'm not involved in that field, nor do I lead an oppressed life.

You wanna make people aware of what? Pass on what? You want to make people pass Zeitgeist on and say the exact same stuff as you, that's what you want.

Eventually it just leads to lots of college kids saying, "Things need to change.", without knowing what, how or why.
