If you guys haven't watched it. Watch it, it makes fun of the recession that we're in, and a bit of history, too. Those of you who have, well, what are your thoughts?
I thought it was really funny, especially when Stan finds out

Man I loved that episode. Although you ARE a week late.
yeah, its still a decent show, especially considering its been running for so long. but the latest episodes have lacked something from the older ones.
im sure itll pick up mid season though. it was kinda like this season twelve i thought. took a while but then there were a number of really funny eps.
Reputation: 55I've loved all seasons. I especially loved the episode about breast cancer. One of the funniest moments in South Park History were in that ep.
Yeah, I don't think this one was that great... like, it's so hard to make fun of the economy and nobody else is doing it right now LULZ
I mean, it was alright. They're all pretty funny and worth watching at least.
The only recent one I've liked was with the Jonas brothers. Mickey Mouse beating the crap out of the gay Jonas that straightens his hair was just hilarious to me.
South Park has the edge on being "relevant" because the episodes essentially take a day to make.
With that said, all they ever do now is parody something and then reap the benefits of fools claiming that it's clever humour.
South Park is meant to be adult, but it's the animated comedy I grew out of first.
Precisely, it's funny.
I enjoy it sometimes. Not as much as I used to, but still sometimes.
It's just not clever, at all. It really isn't.
"Oh look, they are commenting on how Guitar Hero is being taken seriously, by exaggerating it.".
That's not clever, it's pretentious.
Reputation: 55I'm not going to argue with you, nor will I reply a second time to you if you rebut with nonsense.
Put yourself in Matt and Tray's shoes, and really ask yourself: "am I making this comedy to insult the watcher?"
Now, with that and their recent parodies aside, they have have a form of wit in their shows. They amuse and give pleasure to the audience which is enough to just watch the show for fun. They have a talent in bringing everyday, or...then again, not so everyday aspects of life and perceive them in a different and satirical manner to us, which, at times, we find amusing and pleasurable.
And one question you may answer:
Norrin, do you really think you have the 'wit' and 'cleverness' to construct a comedy that will make ME at LEAST smirk? No, that's what I would have guessed. It doesn't just take an analytical glance at the overall show, it takes more than that, and that's for sure. If you CAN make a comedy to entertain people, much like Matt and Tray have been doing for a long time, then by all means, please go ahead and show us your 'talent' to disprove my theory of them having or incorporating wit or cleverness into their shows.
Nobody said anything about the creators, so that's not really fair.

Gaika, I believe we were debating South Park?
Reputation: 228i find it strange ppl looked so deeply into south park episodes. the series is suppose to be... funny, look at things at a ridiculous side and chill. I cant believe theres ppl who take it seriously enough to actually... write a whole block of text on it. man, serious shiet.
