Why Spellborn is Amazing and you should play it

50 is too low? This game has the slowest leveling ever imo.

Game is Free until level 7 and then you have to pay $15 a month but they have deals where you can fill out surveys instead of playing. The upside is that you don't have to buy the game.

There is no stealth class but there is a shape shifter that can make itself look like an NPC. There are 3 rogue classes though, 1 is a trap user, another is a poison user, and the last is a shapeshifter.

2 reasons I won't play this game:

1)Acclame. Worst company you can ever think of. They destroy the population of all of their games. 2moons for example. The patches they release for that game bring TONS of bugs and makes the game hardly playable. They have horrible choices of VGMs. They don't pick people that are actually active on the forums and that report hackers, botters, etc.

2)The price for the p2p is too high. It doesn't suit this game at all. I would much rather pay my $15 a month for a game that is actually worth it. They need to lower the price to AT LEAST to $10 a month. The game may be worth the p2p indeed but not worth $15 a month.

Let me start by saying, I love the combat system...very great...wonderful balance in pvp even 1v1 etc.

But the reason I hated it was the world is so big, there is no direction for quests unless your within a certain amount of the npc you gotta talk to...and you gotta do like 40 quests to level up just at level 8...it was too much for me so I had to leave...I couldn't stand walking around aimlessly for hours trying to finish these random quests.

I will keep up with it to see if they fix this...but I doubt they will as from what I gathered people actually liked it this way somehow.

and no, you cannot enjoy the game thoroughly being stuck at level 7.

The Chronicles of Spellborn just went into open beta a week or 2 ago and is already released in Europe and I think it is one of the most underestimated MMORPG's.

The combat is amazing. The skill system is awesome.

Here is a really bad video I just made to show why combat is awesome and that you can DODGE ATTACKS BY MOVING OUT OF THE WAY.



I know the video is terrible quality but whatever.

and yes moving does do something. I can fight 5 mobs at once without getting hurt because I can dodge their attacks.

Sorry but this just made me laugh.
I played it throughout betas right to this last time, only to see if it had improved, result still sucks! your video even confirms this.

I agree with your #2 for sure. You can play Free Realms for only 5$ a month and it looks a ton better. Not sure about gameplay yet till the beta begins but, I do like the gameplay and combat of Spellborn. But your right the price is a bit to much.Not only that but you have to pay the 10$ or more for your memberships to acclaim so add that on. You can buy games for that much at any store that sells games.

I personally signed up for spellborn and everything and to be honest I never finished downloading it.... I mean if I wanted to pay a fee for a game it wouldnt be this. The combat system from what I've seen is pretty good, BUT again like I said they are asking for a bit to much $$, and this MMO does not have the quality IMO of others like AOC, WOW, EQ2, etc.
