I don't know about you guys but i kinda like how this guy speaks... he keeps calm and just carries on talking.

I'm seriously hyped about this game.

And he says, there will be a public test very soon. so... *keeps fingers crossed*

I'm sure everyone who is waiting to play Aion already have in mind what to expect via the various videos of the Korean and China servers, basically the hype was already at its peak, now to try the real thing.

This is in personal taste, but i can't see why people are so hyped up about it, only a few people have played it and can truely comment on it, seeing as its either in korean or chinese, which to my knowledge not many people speak on here. I say don't get your hopes up too hight, because it will only hurt more if it crashes and burns.
The graphics are quite pretty however.

I'm glad the game has a nice story pushing it. It sets two nations up against eachother without making either look like like the bad guy. I doubt i'll play though, since it will rightfully be P2P.

Actually I preffer for game like that to be P2P this is the only way to keep me busy for looong time, coz if its "f"2p with CS - there will be those uber players with those uber items that I wont buy coz it will coast you more then a nice p2p game...
And if its not p2p the game will be true failure.... I already said why..
The game looks very promising so far.. cant wait to be relesed

In all fairness not all cash shops have "uber gear" take nexon for example.
I wasn't saying the game being P2P was a bad thing, i was just stating that if it doesn't make them money, they close it and this will obviously make them money.

I wasnt hyped about it at first when I heard about it but since yesterday I believe.
Watching the Walkthrough video on mmo site.com explaining certain things made it seem quite good.
I love how they're making it so you dont just have to stand in 1 spot and watch your character kill a mob, but having to move your
character while fighting will increase certain attributes of your character, ex.backing up increases block/parry,moving left/right increases
your dodge chance, running straight ahead to the opponent increases your damage(was shown on a melee type character).

Umm what?

If you want to continue playing games and then quitting 2 weeks after not because of the game itself but the way in which it is being done i.e company being lazy/shit then fine but when a company says they are making a pay2play game its normally because they will expect their users to feel like they are getting their money's worth.

NCSOFT has made a few f2p games but its obvious they exceed in the B2P/P2P genre.

The difference between a Free game and a subscription game is massive.

well i seen in a forums that chinese aion is gunna go f2p lol with a cash shop.....dam that would be awsome then i could play all the time ;p but idk if its true or not.

I think china is implementing a stamina system, as in you can only play for a certain amount of time, then take a break.

erm no, they go by p2p, the hourly method similar to Korean Aion. And don't even try to argue with me lol, I'm Chinese and lurk in their forums =...=

For Aion, iirc, their policy is only for those below 18years old, limited 5hours or so gametime per day. Since they do a double check on your identity number, they will know your age and stuff~ But yeah, ppl can simply use others' number and name, so its still a prob~
