Default Anyone tried age of conan yet? is it worth it

The filesize is HUGE, 15gb download then like a 4gb patch

This game better be the best god damn MMORPG to warrant this filesize.

So im asking is it actually worth it?

    Complex answer...

I've been playing for like...1~2 months total since january (took a break in part of feb/march) and I gotta say it is the only mmorpg I've actually almost reached cap to...I'm almost level 77 at the moment (almost meaning another hour of grinding and I can get it) on my PoM and it's really a great game definitely worth a try.

The download sucks but make sure you save that download to a disk even if you hate it because sooner or later you might want to retry it again but won't want to because of the huge download.

Also note that you need a fairly good computer to really enjoy it...if you don't have a fairly new computer (I spent a total of 600 bucks on mine so doesn't take that much) then be prepared to play a low-detail and fairly laggy version of it as it is not optimized for lower end systems.

Ok...what type/brand of processor (intel dual core, intel pentium, amd athlon, amd sempron, etc.)

Also, what type of graphics card (4850, 4870, etc.)

If you have 4gb of ram though I'd imagine your processor and graphics card are enough to run it anyhow but just name them in case.

Yeh the game is very huge...I bought it via digital download and ended up having to use 4 4.3gb DVD's to fit it all xD

I still feel it was definitely worth it especially now since I can play 30~60 FPS on max..you enjoy it a lot more when it runs better.

If you can play it with more then 12 FPS then yea its extreme fun.But i sadly have a suckish computer only got 12FPS at a maximum,But i had alot of fun with it.

Btw,if you install it with the disks you need 32GBs

You can get attacked at any time I believe. Except for maybe when you're inside a town.

I give the game a glorious "meh." The idea behind the combat system was cool but in my opinion it's pretty damn close to every other MMO's "hit skill and wait for cool down system." The only main difference is you can spam your swings while you wait instead of watching your toon just auto swing. Instead of watching your skill bar full of cooldowns you are watching a combo meter.

I can't wait until they make a decent MMORPG where I can just focus on the combat at hand and not buttons.

Damn what could possibly make this game have such a large filesize, i mean really.

If it has Crysis level graphics, then it's excused.

Aha funny thing is, my 7 day trial will probably run it before ive even made a character......
