I giggled, but didn't laugh. I've seen quite a lot of autistic kids and honestly, there's always things that will make you laugh. And yeah you'll feel guilty, but don't you're only human and just because you have a sicker sense of humor than others doesn't mean you're an asshole or going to hell.

I didn't laugh at it. But I don't see what's wrong about laughing at it either. How is it a bad thing? It doesn't actually mean anything except that it at some level amuses you. It doesn't have to mean that you're "laughing at their misery" or some bullshit like that.
People laugh at random stuff all the time, why is that so many feels obliged to tell others they are wrong for laughing at something when they don't have a frikkin clue what the other person is thinking? Besides, this curtesy is usually only extended to when people laugh at the "unfortunate". You never hear people go "omg, you're so bad because you laughed at your friend when he spilled coke out his nose in the cafeteria".
