This is what's so ****ed up about the world. I feel very sympathetic to him, partially because I recently had met a ******** who had asked me for directions to which bus station to go to, because he was looking for a job.

Do you know how sympathetic I felt at the moment? Here I am, thinking: "Wow, my parents buy me all of this stuff and I know my way around this town, I know my languages, but this guy doesn't."

He didn't know his way around, hardly knew English and still percerviered. He also wasn't scared.

But, to think that this man has been HARASSED for such a long time, left his family to start a new life in a strange place, hardly know the language and lose his job, that if this is something put lightly...I would hardly think of it as "light." It sucks that he went through a tough time, and it's even crappier that ignorant cops had to harass him. He seems, from his letter, like a man of good stature. This is unacceptable. Cases like these should be investigated further upon, not just left to bite the dust.
