Seriously Annoying AION chat issue

OK i got the english patch I downloaded patched game I log in everything quest realated is english BUT when anyone talks all it shows is squares where text is and JP names are just lines do You know how I could fix it is so annoying.

Just install their languages + fonts.

Also, I think there's already another thread , at least, about chat and square letters.

Chinese and Korean.

Yes, chinese names show up in boxes. Just ignore it or get the unicode for it.

I'm no expert, but I have most Asian languages installed and all unicodes so I can view any of their site and game. Dunno which is which, but, meh... It doesn't give me boxes, I'm happy,

Yeah if your getting boxes, it means you haven't installed the asian language pack. or eastern language pack.

Anyways, make sure you do in your regional & language settings in your control panel. Then click on the advanced tab and change the unicode to "United States (English)" that should fix it.
