    Default Fan noise

    Hey guys I'm having a problem with my video card fan, its making loud buzzing noise. It actually started a few days ago when it suddenly start spinning like crazy, as if it was possessed or something. I checked it out myself and found dust in my fan, so i cleansed it and now it makes loud buzzy noise. So I hope you guys can help me fix it <.<

    My video card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500

    Maybe a screw is loose or something? Perhaps you could have moved the cable for the fan's power a little out of place?

    Check the screws and just experiment till it stops making the noise.
    Shouldnt be too hard to solve, if you cant solve it at all then you can take it down to your local PC hardware store and im sure they will tell you what the problem is free of charge.

    thanks guys, the fan is normal again after a couple drops of oil. I guess its just getting a bit old
