Recently i joined pt2mmo.com as the community manager and i would love all of you to join. I'm sure many of you will flame me now, but hey, i'm used to it .


Pt2mmo.com is the number 1 fansite for all your pristontale2 needs. We provide guides, support, exclusive info and a lot more ofcourse!

We have direct contact with GMs and other staff from pristontale 2, and will get exclusive info at first hand, and publish it on our website.

Hopefully some of you will join, and have a good chat with me like back in the old days.

sadly some people see it that way.
to be honest, i don't see whats wrong with it, game's still in OB, so i cant blame them. And its mostly about community, just trying to get a bit of community going on ^^

Please dont come up with the "its still OB" argument.
The combat is slow, armors cost a fortune, the droprate sucks too. It has really nice gfx but that doesnt make up for the shitty game

I played PT2 untill level 14 and all I can say about the game is that I've played it 24 hours and its was 24 hours of grinding.

The game looks good, but everything else is really bad. Items over priced, no quests, drop rate really low, no mana pots in shops, huge downtime when grinding because of that and last GRIND it's horrid, at later levels you need to kill more then 50 mobs for 1% !!! And you need to rest after 10 mobs to regen, its horrible. Oh yea and when you die (which is not that hard) you lose 5-10%, so you literally lose hours of gameplay

PT1 > PT2
PT2 is just next korean mmorpg copy with boring quest, boring combat, boring pvp and boring all xd

and about OB argument - korean version is after tests and I played it - still sucks.

PT2 is nice overall but those ****ing long distances you need to travel to reach your goal is just extremely tireing

you can buy mounts at low levels already, starting from level 10

come on. A game isn't always about content. Doesn't community plays a major part too? it always did for me.

In what way does this game promote interaction between players ? Especially in the early levels where you can do basically everything by yourself. The community might be good, but what's the point if you're going to solo away almost half of the game ? The only time that I needed someone else was when I had to buy things, because the NPC's sell items at ridiculously high prices.

i can blame them. I have been in there from the start of CBT and the fundamental issues are still unresolved
i'll quickly point them out:

-regen rate voor sitting down is ridiculous
-droprate & xp are absurdly low
-NPC shop prices are wickedly high and unaffordable with the current drop rate
-there is 0 content
-...

I enjoyed PT2 while trying it on Key2Play until the IP BAN.
In my -Opinion- I loved the fact weapons were expensive, the drop rates were low and the graphics were great. It reminded me of my L2 days.
It really gives you something to work towards and when a weapon/armor does drop you get all excited. I prefer this system over games where your looking for weapons with +55 str +30% crit +12 hp/sec etc etc that drop off every other mob. And i disagree with weapon prices being unattainable. The idea is to buy off others, and when you no longer need it sell it back for virtually same price you got it. Just like L2, youll find that this is the best way. But that's just my opinion

thank you so much drakura. THOSE were some good days yes, and THAT is why i am enjoying pristontale 2 so much. These days it seems like everyone wants to get as fast as possible to the max level, get every item by ease... sad, but true.

Recently haveing had played games such as P2, Aion, Y's online, it gave me nostalgia of my lineage/lineage 2 and even RO days. Then yes weapon prices were high and drop rates were low but it gave you a sense of enjoyment finding something throughout your virtual travels. And community in these games is so much better with all the trading.

can you read my mind or something? cause you are quiet scaring me... i actually feel pretty bad for you now, that you can't play PT2 anymore...

I played till lvl 23 but the grind was just terrible. Quests ran out after 20% xp. All you did was kill kill kill kill, it was uberboring. No pvp, almost no quests later, not so much skills either. It starts fun but gets soooo bad.

I do feel bad I can't play as i just finished my exams and have all the summer time to enjoy mmo's. Well I can only hope subagames comes out with its version soon.

Probably you're already a living corpse. Get a life and you'll be purified of playing endless grinding games. You probably cover your sadness of "I have online friends. They will fill my loneliness".

higher xp rates,drops,regen lower npc price fix that and maybe u can get new player but i think its only so low because they wanna make cash with xp,drop cashshop items
