Now before I post this I'm going to get it over with and just say it "Bring on the flaming" as most of you are going to try and kiss as much *** as possible in this topic I figured I should get that out of the way first.
Now, on with my..statement I guess.
I sent the following to Power gamer telling him that I believe it's unfair that I can't ask for an invitation code but he himself is allowed to break the same rule in a different topic.
This is absolutely insane. You claim I broke the rule, Which I do not deny as clearly I did.
Rule No. 4 - No "Offensive" Posts, Links or Images
You will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, within or without sexually-orientation, or otherwise violative of any local or international copyright laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.
This also includes NO discussion of the following:
Pornography (Pornography, in the case that we mention it, includes all textual and visual erotic material. Artistic nudity is not allowed)
Warez (or obtaining pay programs for free)
Free Servers For P2P or F2P Games
Roms (we don't care about the "24hr" legal thing. i highly doubt you're going to delete it within 24 hours. we don't want it here.)
Game Hacking
Anime Downloading
Illegal music downloading
Illegal file downloading of any sort
KSSN's or any Social Security-type numbers.
However! It clearly shows that you yourself in a certain topic have broken the rules.
You clearly stated
"The Canadian police announced that it will stop targeting people who download copyrighted material for personal use. Their priority will be to focus on organized crime and copyright theft that affects the health and safety of consumers instead of the cash flow of large corporations.
Around the same time that the CRIA successfully took Demonoid offline, the Canadian police made clear that Demonoid’s users don’t have to worry about getting caught, at least not in Canada.
According to the Canadian police it is impossible to track down everyone who downloads music or movies off the Internet. The police simply does not have the time nor the resources to go after filesharers.
“Piracy for personal use is no longer targeted,” Noël St-Hilaire, head of copyright theft investigations of the Canadian police, said in an interview with Le Devoir. “It is too easy to copy these days and we do not know how to stop it,” he added.
St-Hilaire explained that they rather focus on crimes that actually hurt consumers such as copyright violations related to medicine and electrical appliances.
A wise decision, especially since we now know that filesharing has absolutely no impact on music sales. On the contrary, a recent study found that the more music people download on P2P-networks, the more CDs they buy.
However, by doing such you have as aforementioned broken a rule.
Let me go a little more in depth here.
As well as rules #2, 7, and 8 under that category.
Thanks for your time, Hopefully you actually read this before I receive another infraction because I proved you broke a rule.
;o What did you think making this thread would do? Did you honestly think PG6 would be scolded for something as trivial as that? Do you really have that much time on your hands to do something like this? What is the capital of Nebraska?
And though I don't like defending MODS you can't possibly be respected if you are gonna bitch like this.
Who the fuck cares if you got a warning.
First of all, that was news...completely different to what you were asking.
Secondly, this is not a democracy you can leave this site if you hate it so much.
