Moving Away

hey everyone,

i was wondering if you could give me some ideas.
My family has run out of money completely, due to improper saving and that stuff. The thing is now i have to move, and i really do not want too.

I know for sure we are moving, and i will be out of the juristriction(sp?) of my high school.

The thing is, i am absolutely terrible at meeting new people, and it took me about 2 years to meet the group of friends i am with now, and i really do not want to leave my school.

I do not know what to do to be honest. I feel so bad that i have to leave my friends, but i know my family has to move due to money issues.

I just really want to stay at my school now. Really bad. Do you have any ideas of how i possibly still go to the same school or get over this?

You should consult your school's staff first and have a talk with them. There might be parents or the school's staff whos kids are in the same sch who are willing to let you stay at their place and stuff, you'll never know.

You could still bus to the school if you were in it for other school years. If that doesn't work then the whole new school thing is pretty weird.

If the school is brand new usually what classes have are introductory sessions for the first day.

Just be like "Hey wassup, new here moved from so and so and I hope i can make some new friend here."

Usually work, especially in high school. Dunno why actually most people think they are dicks in HS but not really. Its not that bad.

the thing is i could never do that to my parents, and they would never let me do that.

they are very protective.

The only idea i have is tell them info of a friend who lives in the boundaries, and then get a ride to a closer bus stop everyday, but that might not be possible with schools being overfilled and such. and i dont think i will be able to do that with my Dad's job.

And i am out of bus routes, i cannot be bussed in to the school from where i would live.

I am just extremely shy, and find it hard to speak out in class and a public setting like that. Thats why my friends are so important to me.

Just try to be more outgoing. If you're not horribly ugly you'll be just fine. If you think you're horribly ugly then just remember this; there's many more and much uglier people out there than you. ;/

Just do it systematically. Talk to your school staff first, then talk to your parents. If there's really no alternative and your parents won't budge even if there are viable ways for you to stay around, live with it, life doesn't always go your way... sigh~

I guess im going to have to contact the school and see if i can still go with being out of the juristriction. I would be about 45 minutes away from the school.

If anyone knows about st.catherines and hamilton near toronto, ontario, that is where i would be. My school is in lincoln.

no! you want to move! it is better this way, because you WILL need to learn to meet new people or you'll be ****ed in life.
