So my friend's Iphone 1g would be almost similar to my 3g except some internet stuff? (I wont even use the internet, so it comes to almost the same thing, right?)

There is no diffrence.

It's like the same PC in a different tower with a different monitor and a different Wlan card.
Edit:
3G has better audio chip as well (first gen did not have the same as the ipod), I forgot.
That's probably the most important difference imo, but practically it's not that much at all.

@Better built:
It's got a better metallic finish, they had to cut the price somehow, so they switched over to a different screen OEM, and made it all plastic.
If you know what the word hairline cracks mean and have owned an affected apple product, well you know what that means.
I have them on my ipods, usb-connector; Makes me giggle about how pissed I would be to have my whole phone full of nasty black cracks all over the case.

@3g:
It's cheaper now. Not the iPhone isn't worth it as a phone without a data plan (if you are not a douchebag showoff*) and they are what makes the iPhone plans so expensive.

If you bought it, it's yours.

If you open itunes, you should have a Programms section in your Mediathek, or w/e it's all called in the English version (top left under the player controls).

If it's there (if not you need to "show my account or w/e" under store), go to your ipod under devices.
Click the applications tab on the top.
Hook the app.
Apply.

Done.

Couldn't get it through iTunes (bought it through the Apps Store) so I just went to purchase it again (couldn't get it through that downloady thing, there wasn't any good links for it) and it said "You have already purchased this, press OK to install", so good deal

Ya purchases save to ur itunes account. Why did u lose it though? Did jailbreaking ur itouch require a restore?

Anyways, winterboard is a must, sbsetting, installous (if u want cracked apps), hmmm emulators if u want those. U might need to add sources to Cydia to get some of this stuff. Look up the sources (repositories) on google if you don't kno what they are. You can also look up some key JB apps on google.

All iPhone are smart phones. So are many other phones on the market, especially the touch screen ones. A smartphone is a mobile phone offering advanced capabilities, often with PC-like functionality. There is no industry standard definition of a smartphone.

Interesting news here. I knew AT&T were doing sum upgrade in this area, but I didnt kno exactly wat was going on, i guess this is part of it:

AT&T Doubling 3G Speed (And x6 Soon)

AT&T is doing some big network upgrades. The current 3G cap on the AT&T network is 3.6 megabits per second - that'd be increasing to 7.2 Mb/s. They're doing software upgrades at all the base stations to get this boost.

HSPA (the technology behind AT&T's "3G" network) can be pushed to 14.4 MB/s - but due to technical issues and the readiness of HSPA+ (call it 4G), AT&T will be skipping over that upgrade to move their network to full on 4G HSPA+ later this year. That's speeds of up to 21 Mb/s, nearly 6 times what they've currently got.

This could be the "significantly faster internet speeds" rumored to be coming on the new iPhones rolling out this June.

Meaning doubling speed for now, and sextupling speed on the new iPhones. Yum.
