Edit: About the bicycle theory, you could very well be on to something. Albert Hoffman (the creator of LSD) was riding a bike on his first dose, and the best LSD you can find is called "A Bicycle Day" or something like that. The blotter has a picture of a bicycle man on it.
On the bicycle ride home, Hofmann's condition became more severe and in his journal he stated that everything in his field of vision wavered and was distorted, as if seen in a curved mirror. Hofmann also stated that while riding on the bicycle, he had the sensation of being stationary, unable to move from where he was, despite the fact that he was moving very rapidly.
This is a pictorial guide to my second to last LSD trip (not many people here know my history with LSD, but it wasn't an average persons one. Lets just say, I left lady Lucy ~5 years ago now. I'm not against meeting her again, but after my experiences my mind needed a break.)
I managed to dig it out of my closet, and I remember what every single thing on this paper means. It wasn't meant to be art...no. It was meant to remind me of the important things I was seeing and experiencing. Something told me to capture the moment...I think my mind knew what would happen on the next trip, so it had me prepare for parting with Lucy.
I tried to add color in there, but as I started, I got really upset because I knew there was no way I could ever capture the colors accurately.
If anyone is truly concerned with my LSD experiences, and what I'm talking about in my post there, I'd be happy to explain...but I really don't wanna derail this dudes thread.
