Alright, while I was out riding dirtbikes for the first time with a friend of mine this week, I got thinking about the motorcycles / dirtbikes on GTA IV (go figure, I'm out doing what people have the time of their lives doing, yet I'm thinking about playing a simulated version of it on a videogame. *Foreheadslap*), and I came to the conclusion:
If I remembered correctly (which I DID! I just double checked when I got back home), the characters on GTA IV shoot from a motorcycle with their right hand, the SAME hand you throttle with! How does that work?!?! I just tested it out and you can indeed shoot a weapon from your right hand and still accelerate a motorcycle at the same time!
This game has the highest level of detail in any game I think I've ever seen (I mean come on, the cell phone even occasionally makes your in-game car speakers do the little cellular static thing when somebody calls you, I mean THAT's detail), but for Rockstar to leave something that big out is slightly dissapointing. I mean, sure the game allows you to survive a 20-story car wreck without a scratch but still, especially on the expansion that is themed totally around motorcycles, seems like a pretty major detail to skimp on.
So did anyone else notice this? Am I the only one? Nobody on the rockstar forums has mentioned it yet, I wonder if I'm the first!
