In my opinion technology has slowed down a lot since 2000. It's weird how long humans have been around but the most and fastest technology has been in the past 100 years.

That doesn't beat.. space travel, creation of phones, creation of computers, insane advance in warfare, vehicles, electricity, plumbing, heavy metal etc etc.
I could live with out a plasma and MP3s and what's the point of a DVR when nothing good plays? Minor upgrades for godly inventions.
