So, which version is easier to play?

Korean or Japanese?

In terms of signing up and whatnot.

For signing up, obviously Japanese.

Almost all Korean games require a KSSN, and this is no different. In fact, the registration for the korean version(for a DnF account, not Nexon) is actually more difficult than most other korean games as well.

DNF = harder registration
arad = if you're living in the USA you will always have insane lag which makes the game unplayable in parties and there will be no way to avoid this

Well, I've had one party that wasn't completely unplayable, but that was pre-スーパーIPブロック time. >_>

So, you might meet that lucky person who you don't completely lag with, but chances are you will lag like no tomorrow.

meh if they didnt update the account making in the last month or so its easy as pie to make an account i made like 3 accounts in 2 minutes for my friends... why do you guys say its hard ?

If you want less work then your best bet is probably Arad.

It is laggy because you're running through a VPN, but after 30 mins or so ingame it'll sooth(atleast for me). It's possible to party if you and your friends have decent connections

If you really want no lag, or little lag then go to DnF, but it'll take a while to find all those KSSN.

If none of the above, wait for NA nexon to release DNF in summer of 2009.

To knived. I've made a number of accounts with nexon before, and I tried to play DNF using it, but I got the message(through babelfish) that "foreign account cannot be use at this time". And at that time nexon was MUCH easier to register, all you needed was a KSSN.

Now, they have made it much more complicated, security codes are now written in Korean(you can use an online korean keyboard for that), once you get through with all that, you still need to vertify your account using phone or fax. (Although people say if you use a child account you dont have to, I have not explored this part, unable to find under 18 KSSN)

If you don't mind soloing play arad.

If you want to party play DNF.

If you don't want either wait til DFO comes out (it most likely will be later than summer, nexon always puts there websites up waaaay before the game exists)

Use firefox.

Don't use IE, because you will have to install the ahn security thingy. Use firefox(and do not install the security) for now to register, then use IE to start the game, you will eventually have to install ahn security to start the game.



And I tried registering with a name under 14, it works and you only need 1 other KSSN over the age of 20.

You also don't have to deal with Mech if you play DnF.
