A good Dualcore is still enough to run all the games smoothly. A good dualcore for example is the Intel E7200 for a rough 100$

I'm looking at building a new computer very soon and i'm not sure if i should go with dual or quad. In 1 or 2 years with all these new mmorpg like Aion and Soul & Blade is it beneficial to go with quad or no?

lol most games don't fully utilize 2 cores let alone 4,I would just save my beans and get an i7.

E8400 - E8500 is your best bet if your on a cash restricted diet,GA-EP45-UD3P is nice cheap board and ram they practically give away.

Can easily OC the E8400 to 4ghz on that board.

overclocking even needed to have smooth gameplay if you have near-top of the line processors and graphics cards and other parts? unless you are a graphics ***** and plan to play Crysis on the ultra maximum settings, I don't think its even needed to overclock right?

and if i remember, overclocking constantly will permanently crack your computer.
