When you get down to it, it's all the same factor no matter what game.
Whoever has played longer will usually beat you.

Reputation: 49- Guild Wars. this game is arena based pvp but then the combat is still poopy like generic mmorpg where you click icons or press numbers and cant dodge a fireball in realtime. good thing level doesnt mean a thing in this game though cause everyone same lv.
Lol'd, if you have never played pvp in a game (Other then the level 1 arena's) then don't talk about it.
>_> Not able to dodge a fireball? wtf? it's called sidestepping.
Very idiotic post from the OP.
Reputation: 482According to Onrpg, a number of games are "cash shop based" and require you to have uber haxed items created through the various crafting systems the game has combined with CS only items in order to compete head to head in the PvP ring. Many people say that about Trickster for example.
If your damage output is significantly less than your opponent's in a match then there's a pretty good chance you are going to lose regardless of how adept you are at controlling your character. That's not to say all mmorpg's are like that but some are. Silkroad skill based? oh nah, all about the stats on that one.
What's up with all the fps games? I thought this was about MMORPGs? Did this thread evolve?
