Pvp mmorpgs with ganking?

2 new servers are opening, the Mir2 server run by Gamepot goes into OB tomorrow at 5pm PST and the Mir3 server run by Wemade goes into OB next week.

I'll be playing Mir2.

darkfall - group pvping all the time..

conquer online - cash shop ruins it..

tibia has pvp servers.. and pvp enforced servers (servers that you get exp for pking ppl around your level..)

ACE Online is pretty much PVP based, although it isn't what most people would consider an ordinary MMORPG. It's a mix between a MMORPG and a 3D Space Shooter Action Game.

Other PVP's would be WOW or Age of Conan

Rappelz has open world PK but with HUGE penalties, it isn't really fun. After a few kills all your stats get reduced by like 70% or so :|

In Rappelz if someone comes to PK you, let them. The punishment for PK'ing is so significantly worse than having to walk back to whichever spot you were leveling at that I'd help them kill me.

I like games with PK in it because it gives you an extra element to distract you from grinding. It's not, "Okay, I'll sit here and kill twenty of these things, run over here, hand in my quest, then I'll probably stick around for a little while and get some extra exp." It just makes the game more fun knowing that someone might be lurking to kill you; keeps your attention on the game rather than mindlessly wondering why you're playing it, haha.

Thats actually true , but It is quite fun going a around ganking the lowbies, because Im sure they really wanna get high so they can gank you back, thats why you get rid of them :P.

I enjoy PK as well, just because its fun as hell running from high levels trying to take your e-virginity.

The side effect of Pking/Being PK'd in WoW was harsh though... I now have a steep, STEEP, STEEP hatred for Gnome kind and any form of gnome-like race in any MMORPGs sense..

It's too bad Shadowbane went under though, PK central.
