Default Best combo of classes to play together?

I was just wondering, what do you guys think the best combination of classes on any game would be?

I think the Paladin/Sorc combo is nice for a fast run through D2

Also a Warrior/Priest combo for WoW.

    What are your guys opinions?

    Dps + Healer

    Else Dps + Dps

Also to note, every single game I played, nether be WoW or anything else, Magic class always seems to suck end Game, no cool looking weapons like melee get, giant glowing enchanted swords, cool armor, every single game centers around melee to be superior in every way.

Anyways waiting for Diablo 3 / SC2 / and JumpGate Evolution( will replace WoW for me as I loved Freelancer/Darkstar One)

Well, thinking RoM from the whole combo thing... the combos I enjoyed playing the most were:

DPS + Healer (Warrior/Priest), at the start it didn't seem too good since it had "a bit of everything" but didn't get full potential on anything. Eventually, the elite skills would turn the Priest/Warrior side into a somewhat efficient axe-wielder with healing powers, and the Warrior/Priest side into a solid DPS and a good magi-slayer (silencing blow <3).

DPS + DPS (Rogue/Warrior), before the nerf and with this secondary class, rogues could kill anything a few levels over them in mere seconds.

Was about to try that paladin combo (Tank + Healer, Knight/Priest), altho the class seems to be too common around, same reason I didn't try Priest/Mages for.

I believe they call those Paladins.

But I would say Rogue/Warrior but if you actually want those classes just play Runes of Magic, I actually have a Rogue Warrior on there and I see warrior priest on there all the time as well as Paladin/Warrior Paladin/Rogue ect...

Without saying specific games I would say something really squishy like a mage or low def melee dps and a priest. I could name a number of games where i have done this and it worked amazing especially games with pvp.

Sin-X + Gunslinger combo on RO always seemed to DPS beyond hell for me, like... literally. You couldn't move.

If we're talking about old, classic classes..

I'd say either any DPS with a healer, a tank with a healer, or just loads of long range DPS'ers. Either you stay healthy enough to last a fight, or you take your enemy down before they have a chance to harm you.

DPS+healer is the best combo. or 2 godly'd out attackers. or a long range and DPS char, so the long range can support.
