You know what. I aint even going to explain why this guys is confused.
The dates are random so they can get their pre-orders in. If anyone remembers that back before it was announced that Aion was getting pushed back to Q4 Amazon had preorders set for May-July. Same with Play.com.
They did the exact same thing for Warhammer online. Its all about who can get the most pre-orders.
Just a point of interest. I used to go into gamestops on a semi regular basis (having worked at one) and would attempt to put $5 down on a game I knew didn't exist just to see how big of pre-sale whores they were. For example I have (theoretically still) "David Hasselhoffs extreme beach volleyball" on reserve at no less than 3 seperate gamestops.
At first the clerk would look at me to see if I would crack a smile, when I remained straight faced he would attempt to look it up in his computer. When that failed he would say either one of two things. "Well man i don't see it and to be honest I have never even heard of it." Or the more often response "well I don't see it but if you want to put some money down on it we will call you as soon as it comes in."
My point here being Gamestop will put a release date on anything and take money for anything because you can always apply it to something else so they don't get in trouble. I wouldn't trust that date as much as id like to.
dont trust gamestop's dates. Theyre estimates and gamestop estimates are BAD. Like what people before me said. They accepted preorders for starcraft ghost although the game got cancelled. I remember when it said star ocean 3 was suppose to come out in march of whatever year when it came out in october instead.
How many times will people be this gullible over game release dates? ALL gamestores make up release dates, for all games until an official date is set. This is no news, this has been going on for a decade...
