if you are making a gunner remember to carry around one of each type of gun as some monsters are resistant to different guns.

Make sure to either drop or give the yaggra thingies your glittering ores as they prevent you from creating any more dungeons.
And it's worth the play if you dont get all seriousy and grind nonstop. Play in bursts and join a clan, do grey runs for that juicy 100k exp and mod your weapons. Work on your demons and upgrade them if you please, remember that the summoned demon you have can level beyond that of your own.
Im working on my caster atm, I've got a bunch of friends that are casters that one shot a whole room with their aoes <33 Looks so freaking cash.

Gunner by far but if you want to be one of the few that roll melee as their main then go ahead.
As for pros and cons, I dont really know but getting aggro'd up the arse isnt that big of a problem for gunners since they'll usually be away, and if the enemy does get close, you have the rapid shot skill that'll deal with that setback without you taking damage.
Also love the fact that you can one hit shit pretty early in your gunner career

Surt is a godlike demon to have, its AoE, while not as spread out as a caster's endgame aoe still packs a punch. Also who doesnt want a naked burnt man crawling on the floor as their demon?

It just tried too hard to be an MMORPG.
I don't see why they had to use a rock-paper-scissors Mabinogi-style battle system when they could've used a variation of Devil Summoner's battle system or the Press Turn system.

xD, except for Nocturne, all Megami games had human heros. Maybe a reincarnated god here and there but most were just average humans/high school kids. They tried to stick as close to the SMT formula as possible.
Edit: @Cingal, one of my friends has hit 90 already xD. It's what you make of it, there are those that feel that the game ends at 90 and stop playing and those that continue leveling, knowing that in the near future, new missions/pvp/acts and whatnot will be brought into play.
Most play for the community, I havent seen any spammers/beggers/idiots ingame yet and I've been to every city.
