    Default Maplestory help..

    ok so when i play maplestory and then i close it or i get disconnected my computer stays at a black screen,i try ctrl alt delete,alt tab,etc etc.

    halp?

    What he said ^, try running it in window mode, should probably fix it.

    Guess ill help you...

    Change your resolution settings. It goes black screen because your monitor can not use whatever resolution it is set on.

    MapleStory does not have resolutions.

    Isn't MapleStory in like 800x600?

    That happened to me several times before I realised that maple story comes with the maximum Hertz tax avalaible to your monitor, and that kept the game crashing to me.

    Open Maple Story folder, run setup.exe, and it will show several Resolutions x Hertz options, even if you see the window, dont click on "I See the window", wait for the Resolution x Hertz is the same one that your monitor is adjusted to.
