Star Trek. Thoughts?

Thankfully I was able to beat the crowds and see it today. I thought that the CG/Space scenes were done amazing but there was a little more I was wanting out of the story and acting but otherwise the film was amazing.

Hopefully the series will keep up with the luck of 2s and the next one they make will be even better.

I thought it was great.


The scenes were put together so perfectly. Okay for example:

SPOILER! When (**** I forgot the character's name) Kirk and harold's character were parachuting down to the platform to disassemble the machine, the guy in the red suit thought he was going to make it, but quickly died by going into the flames. That was a moment where...you actually feel a TAD sad for the death, but then you realised that the story just keeps going. I liked it.

At first, because I was tired, I didn't quite figure out the whole time-travel part of the movie until I thought about it, so after I did I thought it was put together fairly well.

From the look of the trailers, it looks like a pretty good movie. But I keep getting the feeling it's going to butcher Star Trek.


Oh well. Never cared for Star Trek and I'm not going to see it.

Me and my girlfriend went to see x-men last night but all the seats were sold out and we had to go see Star Trek. It was an amazing movie, I've never been a fan of Star Trek but, the cast was amazing and the fact the original Spock showed up was cool as hell. I'm a big fan of this movie!

i went with friend to see star trek and it was full so we went to see xmen. Xmen was okay, but i'm sure star trek was much better

thatll definately be the next film i go see. really cant wait for it as well. i was so hoping there would be another sequel to make up for the sh*ttyness of terminator 3.

The movie looks great.

However like myself my friends all hate Star Trek so wouldn't go with me to see.

So I've given up hope of seeing it on the big screen, dvd pls.

you got the short end of the stick on that one cause X-men was a bit of a let down. Sucks.

And Yes Terminator is next on my MUST SEE OMFGDASDS List. Angels and Demons also looks slightly interesting since I did like the Da Vinci code. So I may go see that one as well.
