Ryzom is OFFICIALLY back!

I'm not too interested in playing it, but it is, in fact, one of the most unique MMO's out there. It's one of the few remaining true sandbox MMO's available, and there's actually a lot of demand for it. It's a quality game, especially once you're out of the newbie area and it's all about making your character and the game environment the way you want it.

It's not a crap asian grindfest/themepark/questgrind. It's open ended skill development, you create your own spells, and you can add to the world. Definitely a great and unique game in this kiddie-theme-park saturated MMO market.

If it interests you the quality is there, so it's definitely worth it's $10 a month.

I didn't think the game was very newb-friendly at the start. I sat there looking at the screen for a few hours on my first day going "what the HELL am I doing, and what am I supposed to do?"

Ryzom is actually the best sandbox MMO out there and is worth paying for.

Yes, Ryzom is back again. However, by them making it a P2P model again they just killed it once more.

I looked at the 2 FFXIII threads I could see, I don't see anything wrong with them...

Anyway, Ryzom is great, but I must admit I wouldn't pay for it even if I could, it's still a really nice game though, I liked customising my spells ^^

Seriously I think I spent more time customising my spells and getting crafting materials than I did fighting monsters, the game was really fun.

The free trial pass gives three weeks of free and unlimited gaming that does not limit levels gained during the three week period (You are no longer forced to remain on Silan). Do not hesitate to invite your friends, as the game is still free to download (and play - within trial account limits) here and a new free trial account can be created here.
