I have a bunch of seasons of different TV shows stored on an external drive (legally obtained of course). I recently found my little remote that lets me control my mac mini and watch TV shows. How sick! The problem was, they were all in AVI format. So, it was looking like I was going to have to convert like 30 gigs of stupid TV shows so I could watch them in iTunes.
Well, this app makes watching AVI/WMV/etc videos in iTunes easy. No converting at all. You just drag the folder with the video files to the app, and it puts them right into iTunes for you.
iTunes is pretty stupid about TV shows, so I was sitting here re-naming them all manually. It turns out, if I had been patient, this little thing does it for me! It tells iTunes they aren't movies, it seperates everything by season, and show! It retags everything, AND makes AVI files watchable.
I'm so impressed with this, I had to post it. Maybe it will help SOMEONE out there.
