Sins, glass canons? What? Mages are generally the glass canons.

Class balanceing is fickle, there's always complainers but some games have good balance going on despite that, eitherway, as long as one isn't extremely overpowered the balance doesn't have to be perfect, skill can usually close small gaps or plain savvyness.

mages are also glass cannons as sins too.. spiking damages is glass cannon but who they are after are different.. mages are supposed to target the melee class like tankers n such whille sins are supposed to stealth other ranged classes

WoW is incredibly unbalanced actually and it's all because of blizzard listening to the community too much

the best balancing ive ever seen has to be in TF2 but of course that's an FPS

MMO wise i'd have to say guild wars, and that's because there are just so many different ways to play every class that even if someone totally owns you you can always make a build to counter theirs

Gameplay balance is quite an issue these days. If everything were completely balanced, mob grinding would level you at the exact speed of quest grinding, and I've yet to find a game that provides that, unless you include Maple Story where the quests involve mob grind. Then you've got PvP thrown in there, as well.

Honestly, I think WAR did the balance fairly well, but the PvE was a bit broken and lacked much in the way of endgame content. As much as I hate to say it, WoW probably IS the best in terms of gameplay balance at the moment, at least that I've played.

[EDIT]: I wonder how long it'll be until people realize this thread about is about balance of gameplay types, and not class/character balance.

What, children smashing each other in the face with swords isn't good? Huh. Odd.

Warhammer is getting better. The New Free Expansion will release a Dungeon which at some points is raided by other raiders. thus RvR Dungeon = Cool
