Default Power point flow - suggestions

    Hello,
I know I know, probably the last place someone would generally ask for help on something like this (or the first in our cases). But I need suggestions/comments on the current flow/layout of my power point for my research project.
    It currently goes like:
    • Title
    • Overview
    • Background
      • Bioinformatics (Subject area)
      • Computational Biology (subdivision)
      • Old Way (How the process I am suggestion is currently done)
    • Problem
      • Overview (problem that my process fixes)
      • Old Way (Problems the old process has)

    That is just the beginning.
I guess the problem I am having, is how to organize introducing my solution vs explaining what my solution is replacing and the problems that both entail. Anything would be wonderful.
    Thanks

What I would do is to make the slide of your first problem. Then add a click to show animation to show something like "How to fix this... <idea>". That way both are done on one slide, and you can show your solution when it is appropriate. Then near the end of the presentation recap and summarize your idea in one or two slides.
