    Default How is doing HellGate: London now ?

    Well i know another compagny bought it, so i was wondering how is the game going now? do you still have to pay for extra content ?

    HG:L will never come , namco(or whatever it is) have the EU/NA right's amd dosen't want to publish it .though the Korean version is getting alot of content to what I read

    EDIT:Hellgate is dead long time ago

    Will never see the light of any english version in the near future, and yes, korean version getting tons of updates, maps, mobs, gears, PVP and stuff.

    What did the english speaking crowd do to them? It was a semi-decent game if nothing.

    it wasn't a generic grinder/WoW, and since it tried something new, eveeryone raged it and called it the worst game ever, because you have to either copy WoW or be a generic grinder to be any good as an MMO these days.

    That and I guess because they offered a $200 lifetime sub deal, which meant almost everyone that was subbed only payed $200, so instead of $15 a month or so, the company only got $200 flat from everyone.

    Yea I agree that they made a few mistakes, but then correcting them isnt too big a process. I agree that since they tried something different they got bashed by everyone but there will always be a fan following for any niche game and HG: L was a very decent game with pretty good graphics, a relaunch with added content for free could pull in a lot of people.
