Never really cared much for Assassin's Creed. Might buy this just for the hell of it >_>

That also wasn't to amazing, unless you meant the graphics which are ok but I doubt thats how the game looks.

    Where's the amazingness?

I just saw 10 seconds of footage that clearly isn't representative of gameplay, and featured a man climbing up a building to some operatic vocals to cover up that this game will be more repetition.

I guess that's all it takes to impress.

If by 16 mission types (4 more than GTA 4) with over 200 quests/mission all together (about the same as GTA) is repetitive, then yes, it is repetitive. Otherwise, it is not.

The 'amazingness' is my own bias opinion. I have played the first one, beat it, and have followed the storyline, both fictionally and non-fictionally (historic-wise), and have loved the premise. Why this is amazing, is because I have read all the new features of the game, as well as the setting, and have put it together in my head to a mental image that makes footage like that seem promising. It is also very misleading. The footage, itself, is amazing, but the end product may not be (hopefully not).

    Oh, I remember you.

You're the one who thinks you're super cool because you found out details about one of Earth's most important historic periods from a fairly recent video game that butchers the facts anyway.

    My bad.

I'm not sure if you've read the OPM and diff scans, but it's definitely NOT like the first one. They've practically fixed all of the problems users had with game (especially repetition, and have added MORE features that will make the game even better; much like what they did with Killzone 2.

Hmm? No, no, that's not me. You have me mistaken with someone else. It's wrong to assume that I know such historical information based on my liking of a game, which is, again, bias and opinionated.

I second this - but it's story sure is ****ing engaging and WILL glue you in if you have the right outlook on it. Seriously, I was playing it JUST to see where the story was going to go. It played out more like an interactive movie than A game. Though, to be honest I don't see much of a problem in that - it was beutifully presented - with decent voiceactors (Apart from the oddly american lead actor) and a great plot that, as I said, pulled me in.

It's not the best game in the world, but it's certainly worth a buy. ._. And i'm guessing the scenario will be similar with this one.

I won't lie, I was VERY confused throughout the majority of this thread. I was curious as to why everyone was commenting about the lackluster 12 second long clip when the link clearly lead to a 4 minute video.

    Then I understood.

I read the gamestop magazine info about the game and it should be really awesome. I never beat the first one but i might pick it up since it's only 10 bucks this weekend. Anyway some new features are an improved AI and different soldiers that respond in different ways depending on your notoriety. Also you'll get dual-wield hidden blades. You can use all of the 12 weapons or so in the game. There's swimming, and you can hide in fish piles and ambush people. Also there's a flying machine. Personally I'm more excited for CoD WF:2.
