Left 4 Dead has a number of little issues here and there, and it seems Valve has decided to (hopefully) fix them via a full blown sequel instead of a number of updates. While a proper server list update would be more than enough for me to buy the game, it seems I'm going to have to wait and pay newgame price for what is essentially a repackaging of the same game, but with a shiny new box.

TF2 does not have a campaign, while L4D does. They could easily just release new maps via DLC or updates, but I guess they decided to do it via the sequel, as the consoles can only take so much in terms of updates(Notice how TF2 on the 360 does not have the newer weapons.).

[EDIT]: Keep in mind that they have only just announced the game. It's entirely possible there is more they are going to add.
