Or a better memory.
Long ago when I played my GBA I found a game that seemed outstanding in the shelves of my local gamestore for being not-heard of and different and seemed cool.
Awhile after I had it, I was dicking around on the interbutts and found out it was an incredibly rare game, only X amount of copies were made. (Forgot the number).
I'm talking to a friend recently and trying for the LIFE of me to remember this game because it was an incredibly fun experience and he still plays his N64 and GBA and such and he doesn't have this game and my copy went MIA somewhere.
Now, for a description... As best as I can remember.
- Combat was Rock Paper Scissors based, but.... not really. It depended on cards or weapons or some sort, it was interesting.
- It was a deep dungeon crawler, you had to go many many levels and finish the dungeon before you could exit and officially save, but you could also save in transitioning from floors.
- As typical with GBA RPG games, it was a top down game.
- You could break down weapons and such and build new ones out of them... Something like that... Memory fading.
- I remember one of the enemies / bosses / towers was some giant tower thing that went up instead of down, and I never actually beat the game, but.... I really want to now.
I guess that was a shitty description, but if ANYONE has ANY idea, feel free to post a link to info / a pic / a screenshot / ANYTHING, if I see it, I'll remember it... All I really remember mostly was the combat was an odd version of rock paper scissors.
Much appreciate any / all help.
