New digital camera
Come on people suggest me something. I am going for a trip this summer and no i aint no Picasso or anything i just want some good memories, im not going to be a pro camerartist.
I have a Samsung one and Canon one in mind. The samsung one is cheaper and is rechargable...

Well it is with 10 mp and 3600 resolution so i think its fine pictures just for vacation? or does it really matter if its a canon/nikon/fuji over a samsung/sony etc?

SLRs allow you to change lenses, and give you more control over settings, but they're heavier and more expensive.
Just plain point and shoots have less setting, one lens, and less control, but they're small and give you less control.

Well, you can get practically anything, but don't get a samsung. They are truly evil..
The camera I use is a Canon Powershot A470. It's cheap, easy to work with, nice and it's just awesome <3

Really? I can get an a480 for a good price but i just dont like how i need to change AA batteries .... i want it to be rechargable... but other than that, how much can those AAs last on a Canon?
