Hey guys i have a query...
On amazon sacred 2 is being sold for £12, that is the windows xp version
The vista version is being sold for £30, and i have vista
If i buy the sacred 2 xp version will it work on a vista computer?
The thing is that i have a £10 off voucher for amazon and so i would get the game for £2, Bargain!!!
So i want to know if it will work, thanks!

I think it will work, but am just trying to clarify. Also i am not desperate to have it right now, but i would like to play it as i loved the first one. Thats why i want the £2 one. I might have gone for the £20 one if i was desperate

Why wouldn't it work ? I Mean most of the games before Vista were meant for XP anyways, and everybody can still run them with no problem on Vista. Oh, and if the game looks appealing to you, just buy it and try it out, it's better to experience it for yourself, other then wondering how the game would actually be.

the torrent version sucks. don't bother with it; there's no real working crack for it, the game has online activiation -- and it will **** up the game if you don't activate it past a certain point
i personally like the game; if you get it to work and dont mind all the bugs (research into the troubles before you play.. if you catch my drift)
its worth it.
its not a sacred 1 though, but it fills the d2 void.

A little birdie flew in my room and told me that the torrent he downloaded worked fine and that the game ran great. That same little birdie also told me to recommend that you not buy the game because, while solid, its wasn't really worth cash money for.

only idiots get viruses/trojans/spyware from torrents. people with no common sense...geez i don't even have firewall on or protection on my monster pc and i've never gotten not even a piece of spyware on my computer,and i download massive amounts of torrents stuff games/warez/movies.common sense is the key

Which one was made first? Cause maybe the xp version was made so that it would work on xp, rather than the vista version being made so that it works for vista.
If the vista version isn't the original, and it was made for vista, it may not work. It seems like this would be the case since the xp one is cheaper and is probably the older one.
So basically the vista version wouldnt be need if the xp one could play on vista. So hopefully the xp version was made because the vista one couldnt play on xp
