Deadly Ghetto - Free Text MMORPG

I have recently come across a young text browser based game found at www.deadlyghetto.com.

It is one of the best free mmorpg games i have played and is very well designed and finished.

Offering one of the cheapest donator stores i have experienced in the 5 years i have played the games, this site is a definite must for all to check out!

This doesn't really qualify as a MMORPG and we already have a Text/Browser based section, not that you care, your just a bot or a mindless drone.

And the game isn't an MMO.

I also doubt anyone wants to play in a deadly ghetto when they could play in a fantasy land or in space or somewhere better.

I would like to know that as well. There are SO MANY ways they could have gone, but instead they choose mafia... Maybe its easier to make, and there are game engines for it or something .

These type of games fail and failing...is there any text based mmo's that aren't based around gangsters?

I mean seriously do these people wake up in the morning and think "hmm I think I'll make a text based game..but I also want to seem like a badass when really I have some inner emotional problems I deal with through anger and money..."
