Default Which MMORPG has the most original classes?

Yeah you know, which MMORPGs try to step away from the typical Warrior + Thief + Archer + Mage Combo and come up with somewhat unique classes. And also, what classes are those?

I would say one of the most unique classes I have seen are the Segnale from Dekaron/2moons. They are kind of a curse/attack/heal class which is pretty decent.

Almost every single class in City of Heroes/Villains

    Hero side:
    Tank-tanks of course
    Scrapper-melee damage dealer
    Defender-ranged buff or heals
    blaster-ranged damage dealer
controller-smaller buffs/heals with control powers (like holding foes in place and stuff)
Warshade/Peace Bringer:shape shifter that can do everything except heal/buff others. But they can heal and buff themselves. The peacebringer does have at least one heal that heals others though.

    Villains
brute-can sort of tank like tanks, and have more damage
    stalker- stealth class
corrupter-ranged damger dealer with heals and buffs
dominator- range damage dealer with control powers
master mind- controller "pets" that act like an army of blaster or scrappers
Crab Spider-they are like blasters with mostly AoE. They also have pets. Its hard to just call them a blaster because they have teambased skills. They are pretty much like soldiers that inspire the other villains i guess.
Bane Spider-like the crab spider only it focuses on single targets and has higher damge and no pets. It can do melee and ranged, or focus one or the other.
Night Widow-Like some kind of a assassin that doesn't bother hiding all the time and uses a lot of poison and never gets hit if you play it a certain way.
Fortunata-Some kind of assassin that screws with peoples brains and uses some martial arts and poisons

Each "class" or ATs as they are called have a ton of choices, like you can be a claws/regeneration scrapper (like wolverine). Or a martial arts/shield scrapper (captain america). Theres like thousands of choices. And theres millions when you include the different types of builds you can have. Like two people could make a mind control/radiation controller, and both characters would have different powers and would have to be played differently.

I'd say the most unique out of all of them are the Controllers. They dont do much damage, but they literally dominate their enemies making them unable to attack. The perfect match in the game I'd say would be a controller + a scrapper (or tank). That way the controller "controls" the badguy and the scrapper kills it with its high damage.

All the ATs are designed though, so that you can be anything you want. Scrappers can be ninjas, samurai, fire demons, cat people, pirates, vikings, robotic ninja pirate viking, anything you can think of. Blasters can use guns, bows, fire balls, ice spikes, whatever. Controllers can be like Poison Ivy from Batman and use vines, or maybe use earth, or fire, or illusions.

    The classes can be overwhelming.

Also Taekwon Masters and, Gunners(Not many games have these which is odd since they are such a popular class).

Yup, PSU has a really unique class system. I maxed all classes on one character, and I must say, playing each class feels really different and intresting~

    Classes are-

    Basic: Hunter, Ranger, Force

Advanced: Fortefighter, Fortegunner, Fortecher, Fighgunner, Wartecher, Guntecher, Acrofighter, Acrotecher, Protranser.

    Master: Fighmaster, Gunmaster, Masterforce.

Note that Master classes are not bound to be better than the advanced ones... They have downsides compared to advanced classes (and upsides of course.)

Not really FFxI because if you look at it, those "Unique" jobs, are pretty much the same as the basic but with a few new skills, a new name, etc...

Like, A Dragoon is a Spearman, which is mostlikely a Knight/Warrior/Pikemanguy..
which is a knight/pally in RO

Or beastmaster which is a hunter/ranger which is exactly a Hunter/Ranger in RO xD

A game with unique jobs = Mabinogi

If nobody has mentioned, the Mesmer class/subclass from Guild Wars; amongst the Dervish, Paragon, and Ritualist.

The rest seem pretty generic, but the point is if more gameplay options become open, the more original and unique certain classes can be.
